The guy next door

It is almost eight in the evening when I got to the new apartment that me and my friend rented just a week ago. We have agreed to clean the place before we move in next week. It was a very busy day for me that day and I was so tired and hungry that I didnt notice I walk past our apartment door. I thought my friends got their first because the lights are on and was so excited that she already put on the curtains. I pull the screen door but it was locked. I pulled it again wondering why she locked it. I was about to call her attention when I guy came out on the door and said, "Who's there? What do you need?". Puzzled, I tried to recognized the guy's face. It is not someone I know. Panic, I look at the other door I walk past by and I was so shocked! I was on the wrong door! I am so humiliated at the moment and didnt know how the hell I got the wrong door. I look on the other door I passed by, and notice that it was locked. The light is still off and nobody's home. Ashamed, I turn to the guy and said, "Oops, sorry. I thought it was our door." My apology! Argh! Talking about emabarassing moment!!! Grr! I hope the guy wont recognized me when he see me there one day. To think it isnt my first day there yet!

Heart's day!

14 FEB 2011. Hearts day, Valentines day, as they say it. I dont actually know the history or the myth behind this day. All I know is that all lovers says this is a special day on their relationship aside from their monthsary and anniversay. Some people prepares a lot on this day. Businesses is also looking forward on this day. There's a lot of promotions and special offers being offered by big and small businesses specially flower shops, restaurants and hotels. Sidewalk vendors are pretty much busy too. They sell roses ranging from Php 20.00 to Php 100.00. If you are walking on the street without a rose on your hand, expect this vendors to lurk around you and try to sell you their flowers. At the mall, same thing will be seen. A lot of flower botiques with special flower arrangements can be seen. Restaurants are fully loaded with couples having dinner and a lot on the waiting area.

This is just an ordinary day for me. Nothing so important on this day as I am not so used of celebrating it. But seeing those women with a boquet of flowers, ladies hearshape chocolates and female collegues with red love notes is very envious. Single ladies and guys tend to be so pressured and stressed on this day as it adds and emphasize their singleness.

Receiving a token from special someone though, is very surprising and romatinc for me. You will feel important. I wanted to say thank you to our big boss who gave every ladies on the building with a rose, and to our ever loving Miss A for the sweet mamon. Their is nothing sweeter than your thoughtful and generous heart.

And to my special someone, thank you for a wonderful dinner. I know you are not used to eat on fine dinings, and initiating something like this is very romantic for me. Thank you my sweetest thing.

Cry baby

I woke up at 5:00 AM and couldn't go back to sleep. I decided to go online on this popular social networking site, Facebook. I read all the updates from my friends' list and came accross a link. Curious about the title, I clicked it. It direct me to a blog site. The article entitled "The top 10 people of my 2010" caught my attention. It has an image of what it seems the 10 people the author is pertaining on the title. But I did not recognized any of them. So I went on to the 1st paragraphed and decided to read it all. You can see the image of the people the author is describing from that particular paragraph. The author described her relationship on each individual. I enjoy reading it because I can see how talented the author was. The way the words were put together, its precise. The emotion is perfectly set in through those words.

But what surprise me was the photo of the last person the author said that made her 2010. I notice how brief the description was. Compared to other people she described from this article, the author decide not to elaborate more. Just two sentenced to be exact.

The author said "Ayone who knows me knows the story of my life...this was the biggest surprise of my life last year."

Too short but too powerful. Mixed emotions. I feel for her. I felt the joy, the shocked, the surprise, the hapiness and the pain altogether. The line says all that. Its simultaneous. And I may say, beyond description. Tears rolled down my eyes, non stop.

Whatever relationship I had with the author and the person on the last photo, I will not elaborate more. But every emotion put together on this particular blog, I felt it. And I decide to make a difference for them both. Big or small steps, I dont care, but I will be bridging the gap between them.
